The children love tennis with Miss Cathy!
Every Thursday at Coomera Clubhouse Intro Tennis comes in to do specialist lessons with those children enrolled in the tennis program.
These lessons are affordable and you can really see the difference that it can make in children's hand-eye coordination and confidence. It is also a great way for the children to get active outside.
The program will:
- Introduce your child to the basics of tennis
- Reward each child with a medal for perseverance
- Develop gross motor skills and hand eye coordination
- Increase confidence and learning ability
- Build team play and group participation
- Be lots of fun!
*These lessons run as an added extra for our families, it is not part of the day to day Clubhouse curriculum.
Dance Along at Coomera Clubhouse!
Children have the opportunity to enjoy dance lessons at The Clubhouse, every Wednesday afternoon.
Dance along is a creative dance program for kindy to preschool aged children. They are colourful 30 minute classes packed full of fun and adventure!
The program will:
- Build multi-cultural awareness
- Develop social skills
- Gross motor skill development
- Coordination
- Develop musicality
- Be lots of fun!
*These lessons run as an added extra for our families, it is not part of the day to day Clubhouse curriculum.
Other services:
Hairdresser- We have our Clubhouse hairdresser, she visits the centre once a month to cut children's hair if requested for a small cost. This is a very popular service as lots of our families are busy ones!
Christmas concert- Last year we had our first annual Coomera Clubhouse Christmas concert and what a success it was. Each year we hire the Ian Gibbs centre at the Coomera Anglican College to put on a great show for our families. It is a wonderful way of celebrating a great year at the centre, the children can also expect a special visitor!
Centre photos- Once a year children will have their portrait taken by a professional photographer and parents are then given the opportunity to purchase these photos in a range of sizes. Older children are photographed as a class group which is a great memory of their time at Coomera Clubhouse.
Educational shows- We are very lucky at Coomera Clubhouse to have various shows and visits from interesting people throughout the year. Regulars in our event calanders are: Wild Rangers with their reptile show, Healthy Harrold, Old MacDonald's Farm, Tooth Fairy on Tour, Koori Kulcha (Indigenous show), The Pirates Secret Treasure show, Santa Around the World Show.
Family involvement- Throughout each year at the centre we also love to invite our families to the centre for various days such as our Mother's Day morning tea, Fathers Day afternoon tea and Grandparents Day. Our Easter bonnet parade also welcomes families to our centre and of course we have our Christmas concert where everyone is welcome!
